This site includes a wildlife sanctuary , and a visitor attraction & educational facility that houses many live frogs, fish, turtles, and snakes. The Center features exhibits on the habitats and wildlife of southeastern Connecticut. It also has eight miles of trails through a beautiful 300-acre wooded preserve.

 

The Dinosaur Place- Nature's Art & Dinosaur Crossing

Home to 2 great places, Nature's Art, and The Dinosaur crossing. At Nature's Art you can dig in a candle-lit silver mine in search of  gems and crystals, and keep everything you find. You can also Pan for gold, or unearth some dinosaur fossils! A neat place. At the Dinosaur Crossing you can see over 25 life sized dinosaurs, while strolling on the 1.5 miles of easy to walk  trails, then stop for some fun at Monty's Playground. No stop is ever done without some great ice cream!

Project Oceanology offers wonderful cruises and programs for kids and adults. The cruises include lighthouse expeditions, oceanographic research cruises and seal watches. The Tree House located in Foxwoods is a wild two-level entertainment center. It has over 140 arcade and other games, A MaxFlight FS2000 Flight Simulator is a favorite. The Tree House is an illuminated tree with a tree house, and a glass encased second floor. A good rainy day location.
