Spend a day riding a vintage trolley, and see some of the wonderful trolley era artifacts the museum has in it's collection. With over 100 vintage transportation vehicles, numerous photographs, and items such as punch tickets, hats, and more, the museum does a wonderful job preserving the lost era of the trolley car. The ranger station has touch tanks and aquariums, a sailing ship's deck with a ship's wheel, sailor's hammock, and sails for some hands-on-fun. Picnic tables are available, Kids can also have some fun on the playground and swings.

This site includes a wildlife sanctuary , and a visitor attraction & educational facility that houses many live frogs, fish, turtles, and snakes. The Center features exhibits on the habitats and wildlife of southeastern Connecticut. It also has eight miles of trails through a beautiful 300-acre wooded preserve.
