Contact: Visitors Center- (860) 486-4900 http://www.canr.uconn.edu/ansci/barntours.htm Everyone is welcome to come to UCONN's animal barns and to learn more about the animals they care for. Visitors can see dairy & beef cows, sheep, and horses. Stop in to see dairy cows being milked at 1:00 p.m. and fed at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Kellogg Dairy Center. This is a must visit for kids of all ages. The beautiful farm is a great spot for a picnic. Tables are available through out the farm. Don't forget to stop in for what we believe to be the best ice cream in CT at the UCONN Dairy Bar!

Hands-on activities for children are included in the tour. An 18th-century demonstration garden has plants and vegetables that are original to the period. There is a gift shop located in an early 18th-century barn. The grounds are beautiful with historic trees, outbuildings, original stonewalls, and acres of fields and forests.
