Everyone is welcome to come to UCONN's animal barns and to learn more about the animals they care for. Visitors can see dairy & beef cows, sheep, and horses. Stop in to see dairy cows being milked at 1:00 p.m. and fed at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Kellogg Dairy Center. This is a must visit for kids of all ages. The beautiful farm is a great spot for a picnic. Tables are available through out the farm.  Don't forget to stop in for what we believe to be the best ice cream in CT at the UCONN Dairy Bar!

Nathan Hale Homestead

Visitors may tour the 1776 home of Nathan Hale’s family with an experienced guide and view a short video about Nathan Hale.  Hands-on activities for children are included in the tour.  An 18th-century demonstration garden has plants and vegetables that are original to the period.  There is a gift shop located in an early 18th-century barn. The grounds are beautiful with historic trees, outbuildings, original stonewalls, and acres of fields and forests.
