On the original site of the Columbia Junction
Freight Yard. The museum includes locomotives and rolling stock, as well
as vintage railroad buildings and a six-stall roundhouse reconstructed on
the original foundation. Also includes a replica 1850's-style pump car.

The Mill Museum is dedicated to preserving and
interpreting the history of the textile industry, as well as the working
people of the mills. The focus is on the cotton thread manufacture. The
museum preserves two buildings of a mill complex formerly owned by the
Willimantic Linen Company, which later became the American Thread Company.
