Windham Textile and History Museum 157 Union & Main St., Willimantic Age Group: 5 and up Cost: Adults $5, seniors and students $3.50, children (under 6) free Contact: (860)-456-2178 The Mill Museum is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of the textile industry, as well as the working people of the mills. The focus is on the cotton thread manufacture. The museum preserves two buildings of a mill complex formerly owned by the Willimantic Linen Company, which later became the American Thread Company.
